Overview

The TPS549D22 is a compact single-channel buck converter with adaptive on-time D-CAP3 mode control. It is designed for power supply systems requiring high accuracy, high efficiency, fast transient response, ease of use, minimal external components, and space-constrained environments. The device features fully differential sensing and TI integrated FETs, with a high-side on-resistance of 2.9mΩ and a low-side on-resistance of 1.2mΩ. It also offers 0.5% accuracy and a 0.9V reference voltage, with an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Key competitive advantages include minimal external component count, precise load and line regulation, automatic skip or FCCM operating modes, and internal soft-start control.
