The TPS57112C-Q1 is a full-featured 6V, 2A synchronous buck current-mode converter with two integrated MOSFETs. The TPS57112C-Q1 integrates MOSFETs to minimize external component count through current-mode control implementation, reduces inductor size by enabling switching frequencies up to 2MHz, and minimizes IC footprint with a compact 3mm×3mm thermally enhanced QFN package, enabling small-form-factor designs. The TPS57112C-Q1 provides accurate regulation for a wide range of loads across the operating temperature range with a ±1% voltage reference (Vref). Integrated 12mΩ MOSFETs and a quiescent current of 515μA (typical) maximize efficiency. Shutdown mode via the enable pin reduces supply current to 5.5μA (typical). The internal UVLO is set at 2.45V, but this threshold can be raised using a resistor network on the enable pin. A soft-start pin controls the output voltage ramp-up. An open-drain power-good signal indicates that the output is within 93% to 107% of its nominal voltage. Frequency foldback and thermal shutdown protect the device under overcurrent conditions.
