TPS61299x/xA is a synchronous boost converter featuring 95nA ultra-low quiescent current and average input current limiting. The TPS61299x/xA operates with an input voltage range of 0.5V to 5.5V and an output voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. The device is available in multiple versions with average input current limits ranging from 5mA to 1.9A. The TPS61299 with a 1.2A current limit supports conversion from a 3V input to a 5V output, with a maximum output current of 500mA and approximately 94% efficiency at a 200mA load. The TPS61299x/xA offers an optional fast load transient response at output voltages of 4.5V, 5V, or 5.5V. Under fast load transient conditions, the typical settling time is 8μs when the output current steps from 0A to 200mA. The TPS61299x supports true shutdown when disabled, while the TPS61299xA supports forced pass-through when disabled. Users can select either option based on their specific application requirements. The TPS61299x/xA is available in a compact 6-ball 1.2mm × 0.8mm WCSP package and a 6-pin 1.6mm × 1.6mm SOT563 package.
