Overview
TPS61391 is a 700kHz PWM boost converter featuring an 85V switching FET with an input range of 2.5V to 5.5V. The switching peak current reaches up to 1000mA. TPS61391 incorporates a precision current mirror with two selectable gain options (1:5 or 4:5). TPS61391 also provides high optical power protection by placing an additional FET in series with the APD power path, with a typical response time of 0.5μs. It can automatically recover when the high optical power condition subsides.
