The TPS62150A-Q1 is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter optimized for applications. The typically 2.5MHz high switching frequency allows the use of small inductors, and fast transient response along with high output voltage accuracy is achieved through DCS-Control™ topology. With a wide input voltage operating range of 3V to 17V, this device is well suited for systems powered from an intermediate bus rail. The output voltage ranges from 0.9V to 6V, supporting up to 1A continuous output current (using 100% duty cycle mode). The output voltage startup slew rate is controlled by the soft-start pin, enabling operation as a standalone supply or in a tracking configuration. Power sequencing can also be implemented by configuring the enable and open-drain power-good pins. In power-save mode, the device draws a quiescent current of approximately 17μA from VIN. At light loads, the device automatically and seamlessly enters power-save mode, maintaining high efficiency across the full load range. In shutdown mode, the device is disabled and shutdown current consumption is less than 2μA. The device is available in a 3mm×3mm (RGT) 16-pin VQFN package.
