The TPS6244x-Q1 family is a pin-to-pin compatible dual 1A, dual 2A or 3A and 1A high-efficiency, easy-to-use synchronous DC/DC buck converter. Based on peak current mode control topology, these devices are designed for automotive applications such as infotainment systems. Low-resistance switches support continuous output currents up to 3A and maximum total output currents up to 4A at high ambient temperatures. The switching frequency can be externally adjusted from 1.8MHz to 4MHz, or synchronized to an external clock with a frequency of 2MHz to 4MHz within this range. In both PWM and PFM modes, the TPS6244x-Q1 automatically enters power-save mode at light loads, maintaining high efficiency across the full load range. The TPS6244x-Q1 provides 1% output voltage accuracy in PWM mode, facilitating power supply designs with high output voltage precision. The TPS6244x-Q1 is available in an adjustable voltage version in a VQFN package.
