TPS62874-Q1, TPS62875-Q1, TPS62876-Q1, and TPS62877-Q1 are a family of pin-compatible 15A, 20A, 25A, and 30A synchronous step-down DC/DC converters with I²C interface and differential remote sensing. All devices offer high efficiency and ease of use. Low-resistance power switches enable output currents up to 30A at high ambient temperatures. These devices can operate in stacked mode to provide higher output current or distribute power dissipation across multiple devices. The TPS6287x-Q1 family employs a fixed-frequency DCS control scheme for fast transient response. Devices can operate in power save mode for maximum efficiency, or in forced PWM mode for optimal transient performance and minimum output voltage ripple. The optional remote sensing feature enables maximum voltage regulation at the point of load, and the device achieves ±0.8% DC voltage accuracy across the full output voltage range. Switching frequency is selectable via the FSEL pin at 1.5MHz, 2.25MHz, 2.5MHz, or 3MHz, and can be synchronized to an external clock within the same frequency range. The I²C-compatible interface provides a wide range of control, monitoring, and alert functions, such as voltage monitoring and temperature-related alerts. The output voltage can be rapidly adjusted to match the power consumption demands of the load. The default startup voltage is selectable via the VSEL pin.
