TPS6287B10, TPS6287B15, TPS6287B20, TPS6287B25, and TPS6287B30 are a family of synchronous step-down DC/DC converters supporting 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, and 30A output currents, featuring an I2C interface and differential remote sensing. All devices offer high efficiency and ease of use. Low-resistance power switches allow output currents up to 30A at high ambient temperatures. Devices can operate in stacked mode to provide higher output current or to distribute power dissipation across multiple devices. The TPS6287Bxx family employs a fixed-frequency DCS-Control topology, enabling fast transient response. Devices can operate in power-save mode for maximum efficiency or in forced PWM mode for transient performance and minimum output voltage ripple. The optional remote sensing feature maximizes regulation accuracy at the point of load, with ±0.8% DC voltage accuracy across the entire output voltage range. The I2C-compatible interface provides extensive control, monitoring, and warning functions, such as voltage monitoring and temperature-related warnings. The output voltage can be rapidly adjusted to adapt load power consumption to performance requirements. The default startup voltage is resistor-selectable via the VSET1 and VSET2 pins.
