TPS631012YBGR

The TPS631012 and TPS631013 are constant-frequency peak current mode buck-boost converters in a miniature wafer-level chip-scale package. With a 3A (typical) peak current limit and an input voltage range of 1.6V to 5.5V, they provide power solutions for system pre-regulators and voltage regulators. Depending on the input voltage, the TPS631012 and TPS631013 automatically operate in boost, buck, or 3-cycle buck-boost mode when the input voltage is approximately equal to the output voltage. Transitions between modes occur at defined duty cycles, avoiding unnecessary switching within a mode to reduce output voltage ripple. A quiescent current of 8μA and a power-save mode enable maximum efficiency under light-load to no-load conditions. In a WCSP package, these devices offer an extremely small solution size.
