The TUSB211A is a third-generation USB 2.0 high-speed signal conditioner designed to compensate for AC losses (due to capacitive loading) and DC losses (due to resistive losses) in the transmission channel. The TUSB211A leverages a patented design to accelerate transition edges of USB 2.0 high-speed signals via an edge enhancer and boost static levels through a DC enhancement feature. In addition, the TUSB211A includes a pre-equalization function to compensate for inter-symbol interference (ISI) jitter in long-cable applications. The TUSB211A does not affect USB low-speed and full-speed signal characteristics. It improves signal quality without altering packet timing or introducing additional propagation delay or latency. The TUSB211A helps systems pass USB 2.0 high-speed near-end eye diagram compliance tests with cables up to 5 meters in length. The TUSB211A is compatible with USB On-The-Go (OTG) and Battery Charging (BC) protocols.
