Overview
TX4120X is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down switching regulator with two integrated power MOSFETs: high-side 36V/250mΩ and low-side 36V/140mΩ. It delivers 1.5A continuous load current with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V–36V; when controlled via the EN pin, the input voltage can be as high as 27V. The input voltage protection threshold is 33V, with input overvoltage protection to prevent the device from operating under high-voltage and high-current conditions. Peak current control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. It features voltage feed-forward compensation, adjustable current control, and CC/CV mode control for stable constant-current and constant-voltage charging. Built-in features include soft-start, input undervoltage lockout (UVLO), output overvoltage protection, output short-circuit protection, and pulse-skipping mode at light load to improve light-load efficiency. The device operates stably with low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. Available in a SOT23-6 package with multiple options for various applications.
