Overview

TX4121 is a synchronous rectification step-down DC-DC converter. The IC integrates a 36V/79mΩ high-side MOSFET and a 36V/62mΩ low-side MOSFET, with a wide input operating voltage range of 6.5V to 36V, capable of delivering 3.1A continuous load current output and featuring 33V input overvoltage protection. Peak current mode control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. Programmable soft-start prevents inrush current at power-up. Stable operation is achieved with low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. Input UVLO and input overvoltage protection prevent device operation at high input voltages. Output overvoltage protection, output short-circuit protection, and both high-side and low-side current limiting safeguard the device. The IC is available in an ESOP8 package.
