TX4151

TX4151 is a miniature SOP-8 package, high-efficiency, adjustable current-limiting step-down DC-DC converter IC. The chip integrates an error amplifier, oscillator, current comparator, slope compensation, current sensing, and logic driver modules. The internal integration of a current error amplifier enables the chip to achieve constant voltage and constant current (CV/CC) control. The peak current mode PWM control loop and externally adjustable compensation network of the TX4151 allow the chip to deliver stable output voltage over a wide load range. The current sensing pin is brought out externally, enabling current limiting to be configured via external sampling resistor settings. The TX4151 integrates an internal PMOS switch with a 100mΩ on-resistance, providing high conversion efficiency. An internal 3A current limit along with short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection prevents damage under overload or thermal stress conditions. The 120KHz switching frequency and miniature SOP-8 package minimize the overall solution's PCB footprint.
