TX41601

TX41601 is a high-voltage PWM controller designed for high-performance synchronous buck DC/DC applications with input voltages up to 100V. TX41601 drives a pair of external N-MOSFETs. The switching frequency is programmable from 50kHz to 500kHz, allowing flexible trade-offs between efficiency and size. For low-voltage applications, the internal 1.2V reference voltage can be used for precise output voltage regulation. Protection features include user-programmable UVLO, OVLO, and OCP. In shutdown mode, supply current drops below 10μA. TX41601 is an excellent choice for automotive infotainment applications, telecom bus converters, and more. With this control scheme, TX41601 delivers excellent line and load transient response with minimal output capacitance. External loop compensation provides flexibility for use with a wider range of inductor and output capacitor combinations. TX41601 supports an adjustable switching frequency up to 500kHz. The device implements user-programmable cycle-by-cycle current limiting with a 200ms overload timer to protect against thermal runaway. If an overload condition is triggered, the device stops switching until EN is toggled. The device also implements user-programmable OVLO protection and overtemperature protection to ensure reliable operation.
