Overview

TX4211 is a constant-frequency current-mode boost converter designed for small, low-power applications. The switching frequency is 1.2MHz, allowing the use of small, low-cost capacitors and inductors. Internal soft-start reduces inrush current and extends battery life. The device features automatic switchover to pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode under light-load conditions. Under-voltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection are integrated to prevent device damage during output overload. The device is available in a SOT-23 package.
