Overview
TX4310 is a low-noise, constant-frequency (1.2MHz) switched-capacitor voltage doubler. It generates a regulated output voltage from a 2.7V to 5V input, with output current up to 250mA. The minimal external component count (one fly capacitor and two small bypass capacitors for VIN and VOUT) makes it ideal for small battery-powered applications. The novel charge pump architecture maintains a constant switching frequency down to no load and reduces output and input ripple. The device features over-temperature protection and can sustain a continuous short circuit from VOUT to GND. An integrated soft-start circuit prevents excessive inrush current during startup. The device is available in a SOT23-6 package.
