Overview
TX4310B is a low-noise, constant-frequency (1.2MHz) switched-capacitor voltage doubler. TX4310B generates a regulated output voltage from a 1.8V to 5V input. The minimal external component count (one flying capacitor at VDD and VOUT, and two small bypass capacitors) makes it ideal for small battery-powered applications. The charge pump architecture maintains a constant switching frequency to achieve no-load regulated output and reduces output and input ripple. The device features over-temperature protection and can withstand a continuous short circuit from VOUT to GND. An integrated soft-start circuit prevents inrush current during startup. The device is available in a SOT23-6 package.
