Overview

The TX4401 is a high-efficiency, fixed-frequency buck-boost DC/DC converter designed for lithium-ion or alkaline battery applications in single-chip microcontrollers, commonly used where the output voltage falls within the battery voltage range. The switching frequency can be adjusted via an external resistor up to 1.5MHz, and the oscillator can be synchronized with an external clock. Quiescent current is 1mA, maximizing battery life in portable applications. Additional features include low shutdown current <1µA, over-temperature protection, and current limiting protection. The TX4401 is available in two packages: 10-pin enhanced MSOP10 and ESOP8.
