U3212A

U3212A is a high-performance, low-cost PWM control power device designed for offline low-power buck applications, featuring a simple peripheral circuit with minimal component count. The integrated high-voltage MOSFET in the startup module enhances the system's surge withstand capability. Unlike conventional PWM power switches, U3212A has no fixed clock to drive the MOSFET internally; the system switching frequency is automatically adjusted with load variations. The device also employs multi-mode PWM control technology, which effectively simplifies peripheral circuit design, improves line regulation and load regulation, and eliminates audible noise during system operation. Furthermore, the internal peak current detection threshold can be automatically adjusted according to actual load conditions, effectively reducing standby power consumption under no-load conditions. U3212A integrates comprehensive protection features with auto-recovery: VDD undervoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, output overvoltage protection, over-temperature protection, overload protection, and VDD overvoltage protection. The U3212A series is a multi-mode PWM control power switch with integrated high-voltage startup and supply functions. This product series supports offline non-isolated buck and buck-boost topologies, making it suitable for small home appliance power supplies and linear power supply replacement applications. Additionally, U3212A features high output accuracy and low peripheral cost.
