Overview
U3500C is a high-voltage buck switching regulator designed to drive an external power MOSFET. Its wide input voltage range suits a variety of buck applications, making it an ideal choice for automotive, industrial, and lighting applications. The device employs hysteretic voltage-mode control to achieve extremely fast response. Its proprietary feedback control scheme minimizes the number of required external components. An 80kHz switching frequency contributes to compact component sizing. Thermal shutdown and short-circuit shutdown ensure reliable, fault-tolerant operation. Low quiescent current makes it well-suited for battery-powered applications.
