Overview
UC2843 is a high-performance fixed-frequency current-mode controller. Designed for off-line and DC-DC converter applications, it offers designers a low-cost solution with minimal external components. These ICs include a trimmed oscillator, precise duty cycle control, temperature-compensated reference, high-gain error amplifier, current-sensing comparator, and a high-current totem-pole output ideally suited for driving power MOSFETs. Protection features include input and undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, programmable output dead time, and a latch for single-pulse metering. Available in SOP-8 and DIP-8 packages. Operating temperature range: -40°C ~ 85°C. This product is not authorized for use in life support applications.
