Overview
UC3843 is a constant-frequency current-mode PWM controller designed for off-line and DC-DC switching power supply applications. It integrates a temperature-compensated precision reference, an adjustable oscillator for precise duty cycle control, a high-gain error amplifier, a current sensing comparator, a high-current totem-pole output stage suitable for driving power MOSFETs, along with protection circuits including single-cycle hysteretic current limiting, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), adjustable dead time, and single-pulse metering latch. The UC3843 is available in DIP8 or SOP8 packages.
