UCC25230DRMT

The UCC25230 is a highly integrated PWM converter that functions as an isolated forward-flyback controller. It features integrated high-side and low-side power switches along with a control circuit containing all critical converter functions. The power stage requires only one or more coupled inductors with windings and output capacitors to achieve a complete solution. Voltage-mode feed-forward control with external compensation enables optimal output filter selection over a wide input voltage range. The UCC25230 operates at an internally set fixed frequency of 380kHz. It also includes input voltage UVLO and OVLO comparators with hysteresis, as well as an input-OK open-collector output signal that can be used to enable the PWM controller. The UCC25230 is offered in a thermally enhanced 8-pin Small Outline No-Lead (SON) package, in which the PowerPad serves as a ground pin. Additional features include internal soft-start and cycle-by-cycle current protection. Isolated step-down converter.
