Overview
The ULN2803 is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington driver IC consisting of 8 NPN Darlington pairs. All units share a common emitter, with each unit featuring open-collector output. Each Darlington pair is connected in series with a 2.7KΩ resistor, enabling compatibility with TTL and 5V CMOS without requiring logic buffers for data processing. The ULN2803 offers a sink current of up to 500mA, a 50V off-state voltage rating, and outputs capable of handling high load currents, providing an interface solution for a wide range of applications.
