WB9900M

WB9900M is a constant-current LED driver IC with I²C communication, featuring 32-level global current adjustment. It consists of 16 segment outputs and 12 digit outputs, forming a 192-dot matrix, with each dot supporting 256-level PWM duty cycle adjustment. A highly reliable MCU peripheral LED driver circuit is constructed through a data latch, display memory, LED constant-current driver module, and associated control circuitry. Serial data is input to the WB9900M via a two-wire interface, packaged in QFN32. This product offers reliable quality, excellent stability, and strong noise immunity. It is primarily suited for LED driving applications in home appliances (microwave ovens, washing machines, air conditioners), vacuum cleaners, speakers, portable devices, and more. WB9900M is a constant-current driver IC designed for LED display panels based on the I²C communication protocol, supporting up to 16-segment × 12-digit output, with 256-level duty cycle current adjustment per dot. The number of scanned digits can be configured via registers to achieve higher single-dot drive current. Compared to conventional LED display panel driver ICs — where changes in the number of illuminated LEDs or input voltage cause variations in individual LED current, thereby affecting display brightness — the WB9900M's constant-current design ensures that once the display mode is configured, the current through each LED remains constant and does not fluctuate due to changes in the number of illuminated LEDs or input voltage variations.
