WK2204-IQNG

WK2204 is a low-power, four-channel universal asynchronous transceiver supporting UART, SPI, and I²C bus interfaces, and is the first device of its kind to feature 256-level FIFOs. Via mode selection, the device can operate in any of the host interface modes, extending the selected host interface into four enhanced UART sub-channels. Each sub-channel's UART can be independently configured with baud rate, word length, and parity format, supporting a maximum communication rate of 1.5 Mbps. Each sub-channel can also be independently configured to support advanced operating modes including IrDA infrared communication, RS-485 automatic transceiver control, 9-bit network address auto-detection, and software or hardware automatic flow control. Each sub-channel features independent 256-level transmit and receive FIFOs with user-programmable FIFO interrupt trigger levels and timeout interrupt capability. The chip is available in a QFN24 lead-free package, operates over a supply voltage range of 2.0V ~ 3.6V, and supports configurable auto-sleep and wake-up functionality.
