WS2801S

WS2801 is a constant-current LED driver designed for indoor/outdoor LED displays and decorative LED lighting systems, suitable for LED cascade applications. It features 3 output channels, each capable of driving up to 30mA of constant current. WS2801 integrates a serial shift register, data latch, output register, bandgap reference voltage generator, internal oscillator, and programmable constant-current output drivers. Serial data is clocked into the shift register on the rising edge of an external clock. Data and clock output buffers support cascading with additional ICs. The output polarity inversion function enables high-power LED driving by adapting the application circuit. WS2801 adopts a reliable two-wire scheme featuring low EMI transmission, strong noise immunity, and hot-swap support. The two-wire control scheme reduces system cost, making it ideal for low-cost decorative LED lighting systems. WS2801 is available in a SOP-14 package with an operating temperature range of -40~85℃.
