XBL1507-ADJ

The XBL1507 is a monolithic integrated circuit designed for buck DC/DC converters, capable of driving 3A loads without external transistors. By reducing the number of external components, board space can be easily saved. An external shutdown function allows logic-level control to put the device into standby mode. Internal compensation provides good line and load regulation in the feedback control loop, requiring no external design. For protection features, thermal shutdown prevents damage from overheating, while current limiting prevents the output switch from operating in an overcurrent condition. If the current limit is triggered and VFB drops below 0.5V, the switching frequency will be reduced. The XBL1507 series operates at a switching frequency of 150KHz, allowing the use of smaller filter components than those required by lower-frequency switching regulators. Additional features include a guaranteed output voltage tolerance of ±4% and an oscillator frequency tolerance of ±15% under specified input voltage and output load conditions. Output versions include fixed 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and an adjustable type. The XBL1507 is available in a TO252-5 package.
