Overview
XL1509Q is a high-voltage, high-efficiency automotive-grade step-down DC-DC switching converter with a constant switching frequency of 150KHz and a peak switch current capability of up to 2A. The device supports a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 45V and up to 100% duty cycle output. The built-in loop compensation module effectively reduces the number of external components required, lowering overall power system cost and saving PCB space. The XL1509Q is available in an ADJ adjustable output voltage version and a 5.0V fixed output voltage version. The IC integrates thermal shutdown protection, current limiting protection, and short-circuit protection. When short-circuit protection is activated, the switching frequency is reduced from 150KHz to approximately 30KHz.
