Overview

XL3001 is a step-down constant-current LED driver operating over a DC 8V to 40V input voltage range, featuring low ripple and an integrated power MOS. XL3001 incorporates a fixed-frequency oscillator and frequency compensation circuit, simplifying circuit design. The PWM control loop regulates the duty cycle with linear adjustment from 0 to 100%. Built-in output overcurrent protection reduces switching frequency from 220KHz to 60KHz under output short-circuit conditions. An internal compensation module minimizes external component count.
