Overview

XL3005 is a step-down constant-current LED driver operating over a DC 8V to 36V input voltage range, featuring low ripple and an integrated power MOSFET. The built-in fixed-frequency oscillator and frequency compensation circuit simplify circuit design. The PWM control loop adjusts the duty cycle linearly from 0 to 100%. Built-in output overcurrent protection reduces the switching frequency from 220KHz to 60KHz under output short-circuit conditions. The internal compensation module minimizes the number of external components.
