Overview

The ADM7150 is a low dropout (LDO) linear regulator powered by a 4.5 V to 16 V supply with a maximum output current of 800 mA. The device employs an advanced proprietary architecture to deliver high power supply rejection (greater than 90 dB from 1 kHz to 1 MHz), ultralow noise (<1.7 nV/√Hz), and excellent line and load transient response using a single 10 μF ceramic output capacitor. The ADM7150 offers fixed outputs of 1.8 V, 2.8 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.5 V, 4.8 V, and 5.0 V. In addition, 16 fixed output voltages in the 1.5 V to 5.0 V range are available on request. The ADM7150 regulator has a typical output noise of 1.0 μV rms (100 Hz to 100 kHz, fixed output voltage) and a noise spectral density of 1.7 nV/√Hz from 10 kHz to 1 MHz. The ADM7150 is available in an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP and an 8-lead SOIC package, offering a compact footprint with excellent thermal performance.
