Overview

This device is a low quiescent current, low-noise LDO linear regulator powered by a 2.7V to 20V supply, capable of delivering up to 300mA output current. The typical quiescent current under full-load conditions is as low as 1mA, and the typical shutdown current consumption is as low as 1.2uA, making it well suited for portable devices. The architecture allows output voltage adjustment via an external resistor divider, or a fixed output voltage version can be selected. For stable operation, an output capacitor with ESR less than 0.3Ω, ESL less than 2nH, and a minimum capacitance of 2.2uF is recommended, along with a 2.2uF bypass capacitor connected from input to ground to reduce PCB layout sensitivity.
