Overview

The AiP74HC/HCT374 is an 8-bit positive-edge-triggered D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs. The device features one clock input and one output enable input. The flip-flops store the state of each individual D input that meets the setup and hold time requirements. When the output enable input is HIGH, the outputs are in a high-impedance state. Changes to the output enable input do not affect the state of the flip-flops. Input clamping diodes are provided, allowing the input interface to be connected to voltages exceeding VCC via current-limiting resistors. The AiP74HCT374 variant features reduced input threshold levels for TTL logic level interfacing.
