Overview

The AiP74HC/HCT4051 is an 8-to-1 analog switch designed for analog or digital 8:1 multiplexing applications. The device features three digital select inputs, eight independent input/output pins, one common input/output pin, and a digital enable input. When the enable input is high, the switch turns off. Inputs include clamping diodes, allowing the input interface to connect to voltages exceeding VCC through current-limiting resistors, enabling 5V logic to communicate with ±5V analog signals.
