Overview
The AMS1117 is a positive-voltage low-dropout three-terminal linear regulator with a 1.2V dropout voltage at 800mA output current. The device is available in fixed and adjustable output voltage versions. Fixed output voltages include 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5.0V. The adjustable version offers 1.5% output voltage accuracy, while the fixed 1.2V output version provides 2% accuracy. With integrated over-temperature protection and current limiting circuitry, it is suitable for a wide range of electronic applications.
