Overview

AMS1117-ADJ/1.2/1.5/1.8/2.5/2.85/3.3/5 is a low dropout positive voltage regulator with a maximum output current of 1A. The AMS1117-ADJ is an adjustable output voltage version that requires only two external resistors to regulate the output voltage in the range of 1.25V~13.8V, while AMS1117-1.2/1.5/1.8/2.5/2.85/3.3/5 are fixed output versions at 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5V respectively. The IC features built-in thermal protection. Widely used in applications requiring high-precision, low dropout positive voltage regulation, such as portable devices, battery chargers, etc.
