Overview
The AMS1117 is a positive-voltage, low-dropout three-terminal linear voltage regulator with a 1.2V dropout voltage at 800mA output current. It is available in two versions: fixed voltage output and adjustable voltage output. Fixed output voltages are 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5.0V. The adjustable version and fixed-voltage versions (except 1.2V) offer 1% output voltage accuracy, while the 1.2V fixed version offers 2% accuracy. With integrated thermal shutdown and current limiting protection, it is suitable for a wide range of electronic applications.
