Overview

The AMS1117-ADJ/1.2/1.5/1.8/2.5/2.85/3.3/5 series are low-dropout positive voltage regulators with a maximum output current of 1A. The AMS1117-ADJ is an adjustable output voltage version that requires only two external resistors to set the output voltage within the range of 1.25V to 13.8V; the AMS1117-1.2/1.5/1.8/2.5/2.85/3.3/5 are fixed output voltage versions. This series features built-in thermal protection and is widely used in applications requiring high-accuracy, low-dropout voltage regulation, such as portable devices and battery chargers.
