Overview
This product is a serial EEPROM device compatible with I2C, featuring a memory array capacity of 8 Kbits (1 Kbytes) organized as 16 bytes per page.
Key features
- Single-supply voltage with high-speed mode: minimum operating voltage down to 1.7V; supports 1 MHz clock frequency at 2.5V to 5.5V; supports 400kHz clock frequency at 1.7V to 5.5V.
- Low-power CMOS technology: typical read current 0.2mA (at 400kHz); typical write current 0.8mA (at 400kHz).
- Schmitt trigger and filtered inputs for noise suppression.
- Sequential read and random read support.
- Page write mode with partial page write capability.
- Write protection for the entire memory array.
- One additional writeable lockable page.
- Self-timed write cycle (5ms max).
- High reliability: 1,000,000 write cycle endurance; 100-year data retention.
