Overview

A low dropout voltage regulator featuring low on-resistance, high power supply rejection ratio, low noise, excellent load/line transient response, and smooth soft-start characteristics. The device integrates current limiting, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown functions to fully protect the IC from damage. Designed to operate with input ceramic capacitors of 1μF or greater and output ceramic capacitors of 1μF or greater. Its low power consumption and excellent dynamic response make it ideal for handheld communication devices. The miniature package enables high-density board mounting.
