Overview
BL5372 is a low-power real-time clock IC that communicates with a CPU in real time via an I2C two-wire interface, designed for use in any system requiring a time base. The device can generate multiple periodic interrupt pulses (with a maximum period of up to 1 month) and features two alarm systems. BL5372 integrates an internal low-power voltage regulator, enabling the oscillator to maintain normal operation at very low power consumption even under harsh environmental conditions (typical: 400nA@3.6V). BL5372 incorporates an oscillator stop detection latch function; by monitoring this bit, the validity of internal clock data can be verified. BL5372 features a built-in digital time trimming circuit to ensure high-accuracy timekeeping, with two crystal selection modes: 32KHz and 32.768KHz. This product is fully compatible with the Ricoh RS5C372A.
