Overview
The BR24Lxxx-W Series are serial EEPROMs with I²C bus interface.
Key features
- Fully compliant with the world standard I²C bus.
- All control via two ports: SCL and SDA.
- Other devices besides EEPROM can be connected to the same port, saving microcontroller ports.
- 1.8V to 5.5V single power supply (1.7V to 5.5V for BR24L02-W, BR24L16-W, BR24L32-W), ideal for battery-powered applications.
- Page write mode for factory initial value programming.
- Highly reliable connections via gold pads and gold wire bonding.
- Auto-erase and auto-end functions during data write operations.
- Low current consumption:
- Write operation (5V): 1.2mA (typ., 1.5mA for BR24L32-W, BR24L64-W).
- Read operation (5V): 0.2mA (typ.).
- Standby operation (5V): 0.1μA (typ.).
- Write error prevention:
- Write protection function.
- Write error prevention at low voltage.
- Data rewrite endurance: 1,000,000 cycles.
- Data retention: 40 years.
- Built-in noise filter on SCL/SDA pins.
