Overview

CAT809xTBI-GT3-MS is a voltage detection IC designed for power supply voltage monitoring in digital systems, operating over the industrial-grade temperature range. The CAT809xTBI-GT3-MS generates a reset signal that asserts low when the system supply voltage drops below the threshold, and deasserts high after a minimum 140ms delay once the supply voltage recovers above the threshold. The CAT809xTBI-GT3-MS series supports any customer-specified detection voltage threshold. Seven standard industrial voltage monitoring thresholds are currently available, covering four supply voltage categories: 5.0V, 3.3V, 3.0V, and 2.5V. The CAT809xTBI-GT3-MS features a push-pull output stage that drives the reset output high when the monitored voltage exceeds the threshold. Fast power supply transients, glitches, and noise are filtered by the IC to prevent false triggering, while correct output logic and full performance specifications are guaranteed at supply voltages as low as 1.0V. The CAT809xTBI-GT3-MS is available in a compact 3-pin SOT-23 package.
