CBM1764DT-ADJ

CBM1764DT is a 3A low dropout linear regulator with fast transient response. The device delivers 3A load current with a dropout voltage of 340mV. Quiescent current is approximately 1mA during normal operation and drops below 1uA in shutdown mode. Quiescent current is well controlled — unlike many other regulators, this device does not exhibit increased quiescent current under dropout conditions. In addition to fast transient response, the CBM1764DT features very low output voltage noise, making it ideal for powering RF sensing systems. The output voltage range is 1.2V to 20V, and stability can be maintained with an output capacitor as low as 10uF. Internal protection circuits include reverse battery protection, current limiting, thermal shutdown, and reverse current protection. The device is available in fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V, as well as an adjustable version with a 1.2V reference voltage. The CBM1764DT regulator is offered in a 5-pin TO-263 package.
