Overview
The CBM803X/CBM809X/CBM810X series monitors power supply voltages in microprocessor systems, providing reset output during power-up and power-down conditions. During power-up, an internal timer holds reset for 240 ms, keeping the microprocessor in reset state until conditions stabilize. Reset output remains operational when VCC drops as low as 1 V. The CBM803X and CBM809X provide an active-low reset signal (RESET) output, while the CBM810X provides an active-high signal (RESET) output. The CBM809X and CBM810X feature push-pull outputs, whereas the CBM803X has an open-drain output requiring an external pull-up resistor. Seven threshold voltage options are available to accommodate monitoring of various supply voltages. The CBM803X/CBM809X/CBM810X draws 17μA quiescent current, suited for low-power portable devices. The CBM803X is available in SC70 package; the CBM809X/CBM810X are available in SOT-23 and SC70 packages.
