Overview

This device contains two identical but independent D-type flip-flops, each with separate data input, set, reset, clock input, and outputs (Q and Q̅). It can be used as a shift register by connecting the Q̅ output to the data input, and also as a counter and toggle flip-flop. On the rising edge of the clock pulse, the logic level at the data input is transferred to the Q output. The set and reset states are independent of the clock, controlled by a high level on the set or reset pin respectively. The device is available in SOP-14, TSSOP-14, DIP-14, and QFN-16 packages.
