Overview
The CN825 series ICs are microprocessor reset chips for power supply voltage monitoring, integrating a voltage detection unit, timer, watchdog, and manual reset unit. The CN825 series reduces system complexity and improves system reliability. The CN825 series asserts a reset signal when the supply voltage falls below the reset threshold. The reset threshold is internally fixed with 1% accuracy. The watchdog timer timeout period is 1.6 seconds. The CN825 series provides both active-low and active-high reset outputs. The CN825 series reset ICs are designed to monitor power supplies for digital components such as microprocessors, controllers, DSPs, and memories. The CN825 series asserts a reset signal during power-up, power-down, or transient undervoltage conditions on the monitored supply, preventing erroneous instruction execution.
