DK075G

DK075G is a current-mode controlled quasi-resonant flyback AC-DC power management switch IC. It integrates a 700V/160mΩ GaN HEMT, control circuit, and gate driver circuit, significantly reducing the number of external components and effectively lowering overall cost. DK075G operates in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM): when the core energy is fully released and the primary inductance resonates with the GaN HEMT junction capacitance to its valley, the primary power switch turns on, improving turn-on switching loss and enhancing efficiency across the full power range. DK075G monitors the drain-to-source voltage of the power switch and turns it on when VDS reaches its minimum value, reducing switching loss and improving EMI. DK075G greatly simplifies the design and manufacturing of flyback AC-DC converters, especially for applications requiring high conversion efficiency and high power density. DK075G features comprehensive protection functions: output OVP, VCC over/under-voltage protection, OTP, open-loop protection, output OCP, and more.
