DK8035

DK8035 is a highly integrated quasi-resonant flyback AC-DC power switch IC featuring a 700V/432mΩ GaN HEMT. It detects the power transistor drain voltage V_D,Λ and turns on the power transistor when V_p reaches its minimum value, thereby reducing switching losses and improving EMI. This IC greatly simplifies the design and manufacturing of flyback AC-DC converters, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring high conversion efficiency and high power density. The DK8035 incorporates comprehensive protection features, including output overvoltage protection, VCC over/undervoltage protection, overtemperature protection, open-loop protection, and output overcurrent protection. It is a current-mode controlled quasi-resonant flyback AC-DC power management switch IC with integrated control and gate drive circuitry, significantly reducing the number of external components and effectively lowering overall system cost. The DK8035 operates in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), turning on the primary power switch when the core energy is fully released and the primary inductance resonates with the GaN HEMT junction capacitance to its minimum value, thereby improving turn-on losses and enhancing efficiency across the full power range.
